An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Coordinator to join a Tier 1 Electrical Contractor. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting project delivery through strong coordination, administration, and stakeholder engagement.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects by supporting operations, managing documentation, and coordinating across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate project administration, documentation, and reporting
- Manage project inboxes and communication channels
- Maintain accurate records, registers, and databases
- Schedule meetings and prepare minutes
- Assist with quotes, invoicing, and debtor follow-ups
- Support job setup, ensuring accurate project data and documentation
- Assist with project close-out and compliance requirements
- Maintain contractor records including licences, inductions, and training
- Ensure compliance with client systems and requirements
- Update and manage external client portals
- Assist with scheduling resources and distributing work plans
- Support project teams with coordination of activities and deliverables
- Assist with onboarding, inductions, and training coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and clients
- Respond to queries in a professional and timely manner
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows
- Process timesheets accurately and on time
- Assist with invoicing, progress claims, and supporting documentation
- Certificate IV in Administration (or similar)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar project coordination/administration role
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within engineering, construction, or technical services environments
- Understanding of HSE/compliance requirements
