About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Coordinator to join a Tier 1 Electrical Contractor. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting project delivery through strong coordination, administration, and stakeholder engagement.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects by supporting operations, managing documentation, and coordinating across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Administration
  • Coordinate project administration, documentation, and reporting
  • Manage project inboxes and communication channels
  • Maintain accurate records, registers, and databases
  • Schedule meetings and prepare minutes
Financial & Commercial Support
  • Assist with quotes, invoicing, and debtor follow-ups
  • Support job setup, ensuring accurate project data and documentation
  • Assist with project close-out and compliance requirements
Contractor & Compliance Coordination
  • Maintain contractor records including licences, inductions, and training
  • Ensure compliance with client systems and requirements
  • Update and manage external client portals
Operations & Scheduling Support
  • Assist with scheduling resources and distributing work plans
  • Support project teams with coordination of activities and deliverables
  • Assist with onboarding, inductions, and training coordination
Stakeholder & Customer Support
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and clients
  • Respond to queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows
Payroll & Accounts Support
  • Process timesheets accurately and on time
  • Assist with invoicing, progress claims, and supporting documentation
About You Essential:
  • Certificate IV in Administration (or similar)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar project coordination/administration role
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
  • Experience within engineering, construction, or technical services environments
  • Understanding of HSE/compliance requirements
  • Previous experience supporting project delivery teams
