They support their team through mentoring and personal development plans. As an Associate Civil Engineer, you will work in a team comprising of Civil Engineers and Drafters.
About the role:
The Associate Civil Engineer is a senior member of the civil team, responsible for leading the design and delivery of civil engineering projects with a strong focus on:
- Stormwater and water quality
- WSUD (Water Sensitive Urban Design)
- Bulk earthworks and grading
- Pavements, OSD, driveways and associated civil works
You will work directly with all members of our team taking ownership of key projects, particularly in the hospitality, aged care, education, commercial and multi-residential sectors - and contributing to the growth, capability and reputation of the business.
About the candidate:
Ideally you will have:
- Around 8-15 years of Civil Engineering experience, ideally with a significant amount of this locally
- Worked continually with an Engineering Consultancy for a sustained period
- Proficient in DRAINS and MUSIC
- Proficient in 12d or Civil 3D
- Degree qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
- Demonstrated understanding of Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques
