Position Overview
As an Asset Manager, you will drive the performance, reliability, and commercial outcomes of operational assets. You'll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and enhance asset performance across both technical and financial metrics
- Align operations with market/trading strategies and performance objectives
- Manage key agreements including O&M contracts, PPAs, and grid connections
- Engage with stakeholders such as AEMO, network providers, lenders, and service partners
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g. NGER, NER, SOCI)
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning
- Deliver regular performance reporting and operational plans
- Support project transitions from delivery into operations and provide ongoing optimisation input
- 5-8+ years' experience in renewable energy, power generation, or related sector
- Strong understanding of both technical and commercial asset management
- Experience managing contracts, financial performance, and operational budgets
- Familiarity with Australian energy market frameworks and compliance requirements
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Self-driven with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
