The Role
You will be working as part of an established commercial construction team delivering high-quality carpentry services across Brisbane’s major projects. With multiple Tier 1 and 2 builder sites currently active and a strong pipeline of secured work ahead, this role offers consistent hours, long-term stability, and excellent weekly earnings for experienced carpenters.
Projects include commercial high-rises, structural carpentry works, internal fit-out stages, and general commercial construction tasks. You will be supported by experienced site supervision and work alongside other trades in a fast-paced, professional environment where safety and workmanship are key.
This position is ideal for carpenters who are confident on large commercial sites, can read plans, and take pride in producing quality work to deadline. For reliable workers, there are genuine temp-to-perm pathways available, with opportunities to progress into long-term roles.
Overtime is available across many sites for those looking to maximise their earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- General commercial carpentry works across large construction sites
- Fixing, framing, and structural carpentry where required
- Installation of temporary works, hoardings, and protection
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Working efficiently within a team environment
- Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial carpentry
- Construction White Card
- Own tools required
- Reliable transport
- Ability to work from plans and follow site instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
- Experience on high-rise or Tier 1 builder sites highly regarded
