The Role
You will be working as part of a high-performing team supporting a large-scale industrial project. These positions are suited to candidates with a strong work ethic and the ability to jump in and assist where needed. Our client is looking for:
- Expereinced painter/blasters, who have preferably worked on infrastructure projects before.
- Boilermakers/welders with industry experience.
- General and skilled labourers.
Key Responsibilities
- Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
- Industrial painting and coating application
- General labouring and site support duties
- Assisting trades as required across the project
- Steel fabrication, repairs, welding (Boilermakers)
- Operating hand tools and industrial equipment
- Site clean-up and maintaining a safe work environment
- Adhering to all site safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Experience in blasting, industrial painting, labouring or boilermaking
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to assist across multiple tasks as required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable transport and ability to travel to Port Giles
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Major project work with consistent hours
