Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of all finishing trades from late structure through to practical completion, including internal and external finishes, services fit-off, and architectural detailing
- Coordinate and sequence finishing subcontractors (carpentry, joinery, linings, waterproofing, tiling, painting, façades, services fit-off) to meet key program milestones
- Drive high-quality outcomes through detailed inspections, QA sign-offs, and proactive defect identification and close-out to ensure a smooth PC and handover
- Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to maintain the finishing program, manage short-term look-aheads, and resolve on-site constraints
- Maintain a safe work environment during high-risk finishing stages, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, SWMS, and site safety standards
- Assist with consultant inspections, authority approvals, and client walk-throughs, ensuring finishes meet design intent and approval standards
- Manage finishing-stage documentation including ITPs, checklists, defects lists, and handover documentation using Procore, Aconex, or similar systems
- Proven experience as a Finishes Foreman or Foreman delivering Class 2 residential apartment projects ($50M+)
- Strong background managing finishing trades through to completion on multi-residential builds
- Ability to drive program, quality, and subcontractor performance on site
- Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate trades and liaise with site and project teams
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, WHS, and finishing-stage delivery
- Experience using Procore, Aconex, or similar construction systems
