Contract Administrator (Mid-Level) | $150M Residential Development | Newcastle

A well-regarded builder is looking for a Contract Administrator to join a major $150M residential development in Newcastle, supporting the commercial delivery of the project through a key stage of the build. This is a 12–15 month contract with strong potential to go permanent for the right person.

Working closely with the Project Manager and senior commercial team, you’ll play a key role across procurement, subcontract administration, cost control and variations on a large-scale residential project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, scopes and letting packages
  • Administer progress claims, variations and subcontract payments
  • Assist with cost tracking, forecasting and project reporting
  • Support head contract administration, RFIs and commercial correspondence
  • Work closely with site and project teams to support smooth project delivery
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience as a Contract Administrator on commercial or residential projects
  • Exposure to apartment or large-scale residential developments highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of procurement, contracts and cost management
  • Able to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage competing priorities
  • Immediate or short notice availability preferred
