A well-regarded builder is looking for a Contract Project Engineer to join a major $150M residential development in Newcastle, supporting delivery through a key stage of the project. This is a 12–15 month contract with strong potential to go permanent for the right person.
Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you’ll play a key role across coordination, procurement, subcontractor management, and driving programme outcomes on a large-scale multi-residential build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage programme coordination, procurement and subcontractor packages
- Assist with cost control, variations, RFIs and progress reporting
- Drive services coordination and ensure works are delivered in line with programme
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams
- Support project delivery through to key milestones and handover
- Experience as a Project Engineer on commercial or residential construction projects
- Exposure to mid to high-rise residential projects highly regarded
- Strong understanding of programming, contracts and site delivery
- Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment
- Immediate or short notice availability preferred
