A well-regarded builder is looking for a Contract Site Engineer to join a major $150M residential development in Newcastle, supporting site delivery through a key stage of the project. This is a 12–15 month contract with strong potential to go permanent for the right person.
Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you’ll play a key role in coordinating daily site activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor day-to-day site activities across key trades
- Manage subcontractor interfaces and assist with programme delivery
- Support QA, inspections, ITPs and site documentation
- Assist with RFIs, site reporting and technical coordination
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme
- Experience as a Site Engineer on commercial or residential construction projects
- Exposure to mid to high-rise residential projects highly regarded
- Strong understanding of site coordination, quality and programme management
- Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced delivery environment
- Immediate or short notice availability preferred
