An opportunity to join a growing data centre organisation with assets across Australia and New Zealand, supporting the commercial growth of critical infrastructure projects.
The Role This is a commercially focused Account Director position, combining account management and new business development. You’ll play a key role in driving occupancy across existing facilities while supporting expansion across new sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing key client accounts
- Driving new business and selling capacity across data centre assets
- Supporting commercial strategy across Adelaide and Auckland sites
- Working closely with internal teams across operations, engineering, and leadership
- Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Live data centre facility in Adelaide with available capacity to be commercialised
- New developments in the pipeline locally
- Auckland portfolio, including a major facility currently undergoing redesign (liquid cooling transition)
- Exposure to mission-critical environments including government, health, and defence sectors
- Experience in a commercial / BDM / account management role
- Background in data centres, critical infrastructure, or a related sector (e.g. telecoms)
- Technically minded with the ability to understand and sell complex solutions
- Strong relationship builder with a proactive, driven approach
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing internal stakeholders
- $160k – $180k base salary
- Commission ~$80k OTE (up to ~$160k for high performance)
- Hybrid working (Adelaide-based, ~2 days in office)
