This is a hands-on delivery position working closely with site teams, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficient project delivery.
The role is best suited to someone who is comfortable working independently on site and managing their own priorities day-to-day.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Day-to-day engineering and site coordination support
- Assisting with delivery planning, sequencing, and methodology input
- Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and site reporting
- Supporting supervisors and Leading Hands with technical queries
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, and on programme
- Liaising with subcontractors and key stakeholders on site
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer in civil construction
- Confident working autonomously in a site-based environment
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes and QA systems
- Practical, solutions-focused approach to delivery
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage site teams effectively
- High attention to detail with a strong safety mindset
- Experience on brownfield, infrastructure, or industrial civil projects
- Familiarity with complex or constrained site environments
- B80 clearance or equivalent would be ideal but not essential
