About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced EWP/Telehandler Mechanic to join our team in Wetherill Park, Sydney. This is a hands-on role working across a fleet of Telehandlers, Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) and the wider fleet.
You’ll be responsible for keeping equipment operating safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards—both in the workshop and occasionally in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair EWPs and telehandlers.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Carry out breakdown repairs in workshop and on-site environments
- Inspect and maintain hydraulic systems, engines, drive systems, and control systems
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
- Ensure all work is completed to WHS and safety standards
- Assist with parts identification and ordering
Skills & Experience Required
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Experience working on EWPs, telehandlers, or mobile plant equipment
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
