About the Company Our client is a well-established Tier 2 civil contractor with a strong reputation across bulk earthworks, subdivisions, and major infrastructure projects throughout Sydney. With a consistent pipeline of work and long-term projects secured, they are seeking an experienced operator to join their team.
The Role We are currently seeking a skilled GPS/Final Trim Posi Track Operators with proven experience in GPS machine control and final trim to work across multiple projects in the Sydney region.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a highly regarded contractor delivering large-scale civil projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating positracks/skid steerwith GPS for final trim and detailed earthworks
- Working with GPS machine control systems (Trimble / Topcon)
- Completing subgrade trimming, batters, and detailed finishing works
- Assisting with drainage, trenching, and general civil works as required
- Working closely with supervisors and survey teams to achieve accurate levels
- Maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship on site
- Proven experience as a civil posi operator (final trim essential)
- Strong experience using GPS machine control systems
- Background working on subdivisions, bulk earthworks, or road projects
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and read plans
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Relevant tickets, VOCs, and White Card required
- Work with a leading Tier 2 civil contractor
- Projects across Sydney Metro, CBD, Western & South West Sydney
- 10-hour days with consistent hours
- Daily travel and meal allowances
- Overtime penalties paid
