You’ll play a vital part in delivering high-quality metalwork, maintaining safe work standards, and supporting ongoing site and workshop projects.
The Role:
Working within a skilled team, you will be involved in a mix of workshop and site-based duties including fabrication, structural welding, and maintenance work on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and welding of structural steel and piping to Australian Standards
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modifications on plant and equipment
- Working on shutdowns and project-based work as required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Trade qualified Boilermaker / Welder
- Proven experience in heavy fabrication, structural steel, or pipework
- Strong welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working in mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry environments (desirable)
