Service Site Manager – Windfarms – Ballarat Region – Long-term contract
 
Opportunity is available for candidates looking to gain entry into the wind industry with experience in related industrial sectors in operations & maintenance environments. Ballarat, Ararat, or Horsham based.

They are known throughout the industry for the delivery, operation, and maintenance of high-quality, cost-effective wind farms to major power generators. About the Role
As a Site Manager, you will monitor the windfarms performance alongside the technical skills of the 2IC Technicians. The Site Manager will be required to perform long-term resource planning with varied work streams occurring at once. The role will be to ensure agreed KPI's are met in a safe and customer focused manor.
 
Duties

• Lead WHSE, toolbox, and daily pre-start meetings
• Ensure OH&S Policy is effective and implemented
• Provide leadership to technicians on-site
• Provide long-term resource planning support both in-house and sub-contractors
• Develop business efficiency in operational procedures
• Managing internal and external stakeholders
• Manage targeted wind farm performance standards

 
Skills & experience

• Trade or technical qualifications in electrical/mechanical or industrial fields
• Previous management experience in industrial industries
• Experience managing teams of technical trades in high-risk work environments
• Working within a troubleshooting or fault-finding environment
• Excellent people and customer communication skills
• Located within Ballarat, Ararat, or Horsham regions
