Project Manager - BESS

They are one of the pioneering players in the renewable market with its proven track record of more than 3.1 GW of secured pipeline and constructed solar power plants.

About the Role

As the Project Manager, your primary focus will be overseeing the implementation of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project integrated with an existing solar farm within the ANZ region. 

Responsibilities:

1. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship throughout the BESS project lifecycle.
2. Oversee the planning, execution, and integration of the BESS project with an existing solar farm, ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets, and quality/safety standards.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project strategies and address any challenges related to BESS integration.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring project expectations are met.
5. Develop and implement project management processes, tools, and best practices tailored to BESS project integration to enhance efficiency and performance.
6. Monitor BESS project performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
7. Work with the Contract Manager to resolve contract issues and maintain compliance with owner and subcontractor agreements specific to the BESS project.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; preference for Electrical or Civil Engineering.
2. Strong experience in project management, with a focus on BESS or Solar Farm projects being ideal
3. Understanding of EPC contracting processes, especially in the context of BESS / Solar integration, is advantageous.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with strong upward reporting skills.
5. Willingness to travel as required.
