Estimator

My client are a leading national Fitout and Refurbishment head contractor who deliver multiple high profile commercial fitout projects across Australia. Across workspace, hospitality, education, government and healthcare.
  
Due to an impressive amount of growth and an extremely strong pipeline of work, the team are now looking to recruit an experienced Estimator.

  
Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed BOQ’s and variations using CostX
• Summarising scope of works and tenders
• Working with the delivery team to prepare proposals
• Preparing initial estimating assessments of tenders for tender shortlist review
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal procurement team to negotiate pricing

Skills Required

• 3-5 years’ + experience as an Estimator within the construction industry. Ideally in Fitout & Refurbishment
• Degree qualified in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
• Experience Estimating on Retail, Education, Commercial, Government projects up to $15m+
• Advanced in CostX is desirable 
• Strong communicator, financial acumen and attention to detail
