About the Role:
As a Development Manager, you will take ownership of projects across the full development lifecycle, bringing them from site identification and feasibility through approvals, commercial structuring, and into delivery readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end development of wind, solar PV & BESS projects from inception to FID/financial close
- Identify/select sites, run technical, environmental & commercial feasibility, and secure land access
- Manage approvals (planning, environmental, cultural heritage) and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead stakeholder engagement with government, communities & landholders to maintain social licence
- Coordinate consultants, internal teams, budgets, risk, procurement, and mentor team members
- Proven experience in renewable energy project development (wind highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of Australian planning and approvals pathways
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Commercial acumen with experience supporting project financing and delivery
