This is a hands-on Facilities Coordinator role supporting the day-to-day maintenance and operations of a large, secure site. You’ll be responsible for managing reactive and preventative maintenance, coordinating minor works, and making sure the site is running safely and efficiently at all times.
You’ll come from a trade background (electrical or plumbing) and use that experience to help troubleshoot issues, manage contractors, and keep maintenance activities on track.
Key responsibilities
- Manage incoming maintenance requests, prioritising and ensuring they’re resolved in a timely manner
- Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Oversee minor works, upgrades, and small projects across the site
- Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure works are completed safely and to standard
- Monitor compliance with safety and site requirements
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, work orders, and contractor activity
- Support day-to-day planning of maintenance in line with operational needs
- Use trade knowledge to assess issues and guide practical solutions
- Assist with materials, invoices, and general coordination as required
- Contribute to a safe and well-maintained environment within a secure setting
- Trade qualified (electrical or plumbing)
- Background in facilities, maintenance, or building services
- Solid understanding of reactive and preventative maintenance
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Good understanding of safety, compliance, and maintenance processes
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in industrial, commercial, government, or similar environments
