My client is a Tier 1 electrical contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex, large-scale projects across the utilities, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. With a strong national presence and consistent project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join their growing team.

This role will see you working on a range of high voltage installations, maintenance, and commissioning works, supporting critical infrastructure and major projects.

Duties

Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of high voltage systems
Work on substations, switchgear, transformers, and associated HV equipment
Perform fault finding and troubleshooting across HV networks
Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and site personnel
Complete documentation, reports, and test results accurately

Skills & Experience

Proven experience working as a High Voltage Electrician
Relevant electrical licence and HV switching qualifications
Experience working on substations, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of HV safety procedures and compliance standards
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
