My client is a market-leading Electrical Contractor delivering high-quality electrical solutions across the commercial sector throughout Sydney. They specialise in commercial fit-outs and refurbishment projects, working across corporate offices, retail environments, education facilities, and industrial upgrades.

With a strong pipeline of fast-paced fit-out and refurb projects, typically ranging from $1M to $15M, they are continuing to expand and are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

This role will focus on managing the delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment works, providing technical leadership, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties

• Review and develop a thorough understanding of tender packages, contract documents, and construction programs
• Manage end-to-end delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Engage and coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and key stakeholders
• Oversee budgets, KPIs, and procurement of major equipment and materials
• Drive project timelines in fast-paced, live environment projects
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
• Liaise closely with clients to ensure high levels of service and repeat business
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across delivery and team performance

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial fit-outs and refurbishments
• Licensed Electrician (NSW) with strong technical knowledge of commercial systems
• Experience delivering projects in live or staged environments is highly regarded
• Ability to support estimating and pre-construction activities
• Strong understanding of Design & Construct project delivery
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong financial acumen, including budget and P&L management
• Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction
