As well as current BDMs, this role is ideally suited to someone transitioning from an Asset Management, Client-Side PM or Corporate Real Estate environment into a business development pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Leverage networks across asset managers, client-side PMs and end users
- Build and manage a strong project pipeline
- Position the business early in the project lifecycle
- Support client pitches and presentations
- Collaborate with Estimating and Delivery teams to win work
- Drive repeat business and long-term relationships
- Current BDM experience in commercial fitout / construction or similar
- 3+ years in commercial real estate, client-side PM, asset management or similar
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Confident communicator with solid writing and presentation ability
- Commercially aware with developing negotiation skills
- Proactive, curious and motivated to move into a BDM role
- Experience with CRM/database systems
- Relevant degree preferred
