About the Role:

You will be responsible for planning and implementing community consultation/ relations programs, with the aim of ensuring relationships with project landowners, neighbours and local communities are both positive and constructive. 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead community and stakeholder engagement for clean energy battery projects, building trust, addressing concerns, and co-designing solutions
  • Develop strong relationships with councils, regulators, and local communities to support approvals and project success
  • Drive community benefits, including local jobs, training opportunities, and First Nations partnerships
  • Collaborate internally to integrate community insights into project delivery while tracking and reporting engagement outcomes
Skills & Experience 
  • Tertiary qualification or relevant experience
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Australian renewables experience highly regarded
  • Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, or communications
  • Strong facilitation and relationship-building skills
  • Skills in preparing stakeholder analysis, consultation plans, communications materials and managing community relationships and expectations
