About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing, specialist services business operating within the infrastructure and electrical projects space.
With a strong pipeline of work and plans for significant growth, the business is entering a key phase of expansion and looking to strengthen its internal people capability.
This is a newly shaped role and will be the first dedicated HR presence on the ground, working closely with leadership to support both office and site-based teams.
The Role
This is a hands-on, standalone HR role where you’ll take ownership of recruitment, day-to-day HR support, and building structure across the business.
You’ll be embedded in a close-knit team environment, partnering directly with leadership while supporting a growing workforce across multiple projects.
The role will initially have a strong focus on recruitment and operational HR, with scope to evolve into a broader business partnering position as the company continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across technical, operational and corporate roles
- Partner with managers across office and site teams to provide practical HR support
- Manage employee relations matters including performance, conduct and investigations
- Support onboarding and workforce planning during a period of rapid growth
- Review and improve HR processes, policies and systems
- Build structure and consistency across HR as the business scales
- Experience in a HR Generalist, Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Strong recruitment capability, ideally in a growing or project-based environment
- Comfortable operating in a standalone or low-structure HR setting
- Exposure to construction, infrastructure, engineering or similar industries highly regarded
- Confident supporting both blue and white collar workforces
- Hands-on, adaptable and commercially minded
