We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a dynamic food manufacturing facility in Bankstown. This opportunity offers long-term career progression within a well-established company committed to high-quality production and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct fault-finding on PLCs, motors, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Trade-qualified Electrician with a valid NSW Electrical License.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with PLC systems and automation (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar).
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (Days and Nights).
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
