Join a well-established organisation supplying parts and support to the heavy equipment, materials processing, and industrial sectors. We’re looking for a motivated Parts Interpreter to be the key link between customers, warehouse operations, and the wider service team.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer parts enquiries and provide accurate part identification
• Prepare quotes, sales orders, and invoices in a timely manner
• Ensure customers are kept informed on order status and delivery timeframes
• Follow up on quotes to drive parts sales and build strong customer relationships
• Monitor stock levels and assist with reordering and inventory control
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure efficient dispatch and order fulfilment
• Support warehouse operations when required (receipting, dispatch, general duties)
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Previous experience in parts interpreting, internal sales, or a similar role
• Mechanical aptitude or exposure to plant, machinery, or equipment
• Ability to read parts diagrams or technical drawings (highly regarded)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good time management with the ability to prioritise workloads
• Experience with ERP systems (Pronto desirable) and MS Office
• Forklift licence (advantageous)
• Willingness to support after-hours customer enquiries on a rotating roster
