Revit Documenter/Architectural Draftsperson
Southern Sydney
  • Revit-led documentation role across bespoke luxury homes
  • Design & build studio – see your drawings realised on site
  • 1 day WFH

A well-regarded design and build studio in Southern Sydney is looking to bring on a capable Revit Documenter to support the delivery of high-end custom homes.

Working across architecture and construction, this team takes projects from early concept through to completion. The focus internally is on thoughtful design, strong documentation and resolving the level of detail required to deliver complex residential builds.

This role sits within the front-end team, working closely with an in-house design team. It’s not client-facing – instead, it’s suited to someone who enjoys the technical side and takes real pride in producing clear, well-considered drawing packages.

THE ROLE

You’ll contribute across all stages of documentation, from early design development through to full construction packages. The work will include bespoke homes, renovations and extensions, with a strong emphasis on buildability and coordination.
As a design & build environment, you’ll also have the benefit of seeing your work carried through on site – not just staying on paper.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare concept, DA, CDC and CC documentation packages
  • Develop detailed Revit models and coordinated drawing sets
  • Produce high-quality construction detailing (sections, junctions, waterproofing, etc.)
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with NSW planning controls, NCC requirements and BCA etc.
  • Work closely with the internal team to resolve design and technical outcomes

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4+ years local residential experience
  • Strong Revit capability with a documentation focus
  • Solid understanding of NSW codes, DA/CDC pathways and NCC
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your work
  • Someone detail-driven who enjoys the technical side of projects

STUDIO & CULTURE

The team is young, collaborative and hands-on. Everyone contributes, communicates openly and takes ownership of their work. It’s a fast-moving environment, but supportive – best suited to someone reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently.

They’ve built a strong track record of hiring self-sufficient people and are keen to bring in someone who can hit the ground running.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Tertiary qualifications in Architecture or similar
  • 3+ years post-graduate local experience
  • Residential project experience
  • Strong Revit skills
  • Australian working rights – No sponsorship

WHY CONSIDER IT

• Growing business with consistent project flow
• Clear pathway to step into a more senior position over time
• Opportunity to eventually mentor or lead as the team expands
• 1 day WFH with structured, consistent office hours
• Strong exposure to high-end residential from design through to build
