About the role
- Review and coordinate hydraulic designs and models across multiple projects
- Ensure designs are compliant, buildable, and aligned with Australian Standards
- Cross-check drawings against project scope, methodology, and budgets
- Lead or support estimating activities, including take-offs, pricing, and tender submissions
- Identify design gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities during tender and delivery phases
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the pre-construction phase
- Oversee external design consultants to ensure timely and accurate design delivery
- Support project teams with technical input, variations, and design-related queries during delivery
- Background in hydraulic design, plumbing, or building services
- Experience across both design coordination and estimating/tendering
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and construction practices
- Ability to identify design discrepancies, cost risks, and buildability issues
- Confident engaging with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Able to manage multiple projects and work autonomously
- Salary up to $170k + super (depending on experience)
