The Opportunity This is a newly created role within a growing, family-run business in Western Sydney, offering genuine ownership across the finance function. With multiple entities and continued expansion, you will play a key role in shaping finance processes, supporting leadership, and contributing to the next phase of growth. This is a hands-on, high-trust environment suited to someone who takes accountability, enjoys being in the detail, and wants to build something long-term.
This is a full-time, office-based role where team presence and collaboration are important.
The Role This is a broad, end-to-end finance position with exposure across all areas of the function.
Financial & Management Accounting • End-to-end accounting across multiple entities • Preparation of management reports and financial insights • Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Project & Operational Support • Support project accounting and cost tracking • Partner with internal teams to understand financial performance
Process & Systems • Review, streamline and improve finance processes • Work across MYOB and ERP systems
Team & Leadership • Support and mentor junior team members • Contribute to the ongoing structure and growth of the finance team You will be expected to operate both strategically and at a detailed, hands-on level.
About You You are a hands-on finance professional who understands how finance functions operate end-to-end and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
You will bring: • Experience across financial and management accounting in a multi-entity environment • A practical, detail-oriented approach with strong process understanding • Experience within SME, construction, property or similar environments • Exposure to payroll and understanding of its broader impact • Strong systems experience (MYOB or similar ERP) • Clear and confident communication skills across all levels • A stable career history with well-articulated reasons for career moves • You are reliable, grounded and comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based environment.
