About the Role
An opportunity for a Project Manager – O&M to lead the delivery of operations and maintenance contracts across utility-scale renewable assets.
Based in Wollongong with regular travel to site, this role is responsible for safety leadership, technical performance, client management and financial outcomes across multiple projects. You will act as the key interface between clients, internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring assets perform to contractual and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead O&M project delivery across multiple renewable energy assets, ensuring safety, performance and contractual compliance
- Champion a strong safety culture, driving WHSEQ initiatives and ensuring Zero Harm principles are embedded
- Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
- Oversee financial performance including budgets, cost control, accruals and forecasting
- Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to deliver maintenance activities effectively
- Monitor plant performance, ensuring availability and KPIs are achieved
- Lead reporting, project planning and execution of O&M strategies
- Provide technical guidance to site teams across electrical systems and asset performance
- Support tendering, negotiation and onboarding of new O&M contracts
- Lead, coach and develop team members
- Background in Electrical, either through engineering degree or trade
- Experience managing O&M projects in utility-scale solar or renewable energy (or transferable sectors)
- Experience working with site-based teams, including technicians, trades and subcontractors in construction or operational environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (HV/LV) and asset performance
- Proven experience in client and commercial contract management
- Strong financial management capability across project delivery
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Knowledge of asset management, inverter technology and maintenance practices preferred
- Current Australian driver’s licence
