About the Role
An opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a landmark, GW-scale wind project in NSW.
Based in Sydney or Melbourne with regular site travel, this role will support late-stage development through to FID and take full accountability for construction and commissioning. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, on-time and on-budget delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale renewable projects from development support through to construction and close-out
- Manage project planning, execution strategies, procurement and contract negotiations
- Oversee contractors, consultants and delivery partners to ensure performance across cost, schedule and quality
- Establish and manage robust commercial, risk and contract frameworks (including claims and dispute management)
- Drive project governance, reporting and implementation of project management systems (PMBOK or similar)
- Maintain full financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, grid, planning, finance and HSE teams
- Champion strong health, safety and environmental performance across all project activities
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including contractors, authorities and local communities
- Degree in Engineering, Construction or related discipline
- ~15+ years’ experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects
- Strong experience in wind farm development and construction preferred
- Proven track record managing complex EPC and supply contracts
- Knowledge of the Australian National Electricity Market and grid connection processes
- Understanding of Australian planning and environmental frameworks
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and commercial acumen
- PMP (or similar) desirable
- Lead delivery of a flagship, large-scale renewable energy project
- Work closely with senior leadership in a high-growth organisation
- Strong pipeline of future projects and career progression opportunities
