About the Role:
Our client is seeking a hands-on Community & Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our busy Construction Management team on a major Central Queensland. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of planning and delivering practical engagement initiatives, supporting our site teams, and ensuring communities and stakeholders are informed, consulted, and actively involved at every stage of the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the site construction team to provide hands-on community engagement support.
  • Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage engagement and sponsorship opportunities, including community benefit initiatives.
  • Coordinate and attend key engagement activities, such as consultation sessions, surveys, local communications, sponsorships, and events.
  • Administer and maintain stakeholder databases to support effective project communications.
Skills & Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or public affairs, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and coordinate project events
