The Role
This is a hands-on accounts position, heavily focused on processing. Attention to detail and reliability are key in what can be a busy environment
- Accounts payable and receivable processing
- Reviewing budgets, income and expenditure
- Setting up and maintaining plans
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Journal entries and month-end support
- Assisting with BAS and GST preparation
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- General accounting and admin support across the team
- 1–3 years’ experience in an accounts or assistant accounting role
- Solid understanding of AP and AR processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
- Able to work independently while contributing to a team
- Willing to ask questions and learn
- Looking for long-term growth rather than short-term moves
- Relevant degree preferred; CA/CPA studies viewed favourably
