We’re seeking a Senior Estimator who can hit the ground running, work both independently and collaboratively, and deliver results.
This role suits a proactive go-getter with strong relationship-building skills; with colleagues, subcontractors, and potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end estimating process for major commercial, fitout, and refurbishment projects
- Lead preparation and review of detailed BOQs, variations, and cost plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Analyse and summarise scope of works and tender documents to inform strategy and pricing decisions
- Collaborate with project delivery teams to develop robust, competitive proposals
- Provide senior-level assessment of tenders for shortlist reviews, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to secure competitive pricing and delivery outcomes
- Mentor and support junior estimators, providing guidance and best-practice estimating processes
- 5+ years’ experience in estimating, ideally in Fit-Out, Refurbishment, or large-scale commercial projects
- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
- Advanced in CostX, Cubit, or equivalent estimating software
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and able to take ownership of projects
- Strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
