Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preconstruction phase from early client engagement through to project handover to delivery teams
- Manage feasibility, budgeting, cost planning, and program development
- Coordinate design consultants, estimators, and key subcontractors during tender and design development stages
- Provide buildability advice, value engineering, and risk management to optimise project outcomes
- Oversee tender submissions, procurement strategies, and contract negotiations
- Maintain strong client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships throughout the pre-delivery phase
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, ideally within fitout or interiors
- Strong background in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within a D&C environment
- Proven involvement in projects $5M+ from feasibility or tender through to construction start
- Solid understanding of cost planning, procurement, and buildability
- Experience with Procore or similar project management platforms
- Confident communicator able to work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams
