About the Role

The Construction Site Manager will oversee the on-site delivery of a major Wind Farm Project during the construction and commissioning phases. Reporting to the Project Director, this role will lead day-to-day site activities, coordinate contractors and stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and in line with contractual obligations.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for maintaining strong safety culture, managing contractor performance and supporting the successful delivery of utility-scale renewable projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day construction activities across civil, electrical and installation works.
  • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, OEM technicians and site personnel.
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with project schedule, contracts and quality requirements.
  • Lead site safety initiatives and enforce WHS compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Monitor construction progress and provide regular reports to project stakeholders.
  • Support contract administration, procurement and mobilisation activities.
  • Liaise with project owners, engineers, grid stakeholders, landowners and local authorities.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation including permits, drawings, reports and QA/QC records.
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing construction activities on large scale renewable energy projects.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple contractors and site work fronts.
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts and project delivery processes.
  • Knowledge of Australian construction regulations and WHS requirements.
  • Renewable energy project experience highly desirable.
  • Relevant degree, trade qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Full Australian driver’s licence.
