Our client is an international plumbing company that has been operating for over 25 years. We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Plumbers with strong copper experience to join a major infrastructure project in Western Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale project with consistent work and competitive rates.
Duties include:
- Installation of copper pipework for mechanical services
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing copper pipe
- Brazing copper pipe joints
- Installing pipe supports, brackets, and hangers
- Assisting with mechanical plant connections
- Reading and interpreting mechanical/hydraulic drawings
- Pressure testing pipe systems and checking for leaks
- Working safely alongside other trades on a large infrastructure site
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Cert III in Plumbing (or overseas equivalent)
- Willing to obtain Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC)
- Working at Heights ticket
- EWP ticket
- White Card
- Experience working with copper pipework
- Own basic tools and PPE
- Ability to read mechanical/hydraulic drawings
- Strong safety awareness and work ethic
- 10 hour days
