Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming work, their building team is expanding and seeking experienced carpenters who can deliver high-quality internal finishes and detailed fit-out work on commercial projects.
The Role
Working closely with the Site Supervisor and project teams, you will be responsible for delivering detailed carpentry works during the internal stages of construction.
The role focuses heavily on finish carpentry and commercial fit-out, requiring precision, efficiency, and pride in workmanship.
You will be working on a range of commercial projects including office spaces, public facilities, education buildings, and mixed-use developments across Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of skirting boards, architraves, and internal finishes.
- Fit-out carpentry including doors, frames, wall linings, and detailed finishing works.
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials with high precision.
- Working closely with site teams to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Maintaining safe work practices on active commercial construction sites.
- Previous experience as a fit-out or finishing carpenter.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship.
- Experience installing skirting, architraves, doors, and detailed internal carpentry.
- Ability to read and work from construction drawings.
- Construction White Card and Cert III in carpentry.
- Own tools and reliable transport.
- Experience working on commercial construction projects preferred.
