ACRWORLD has partnered with RES Group, the world’s largest independent renewable energy company, to recruit a Site Manager for operations at the Blue Grass Solar Farm in regional Queensland.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the solar farm and leading the on-site team to ensure safe and efficient plant performance.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operational performance of the solar farm and the coordination of site teams and contractors.

Responsibilities include:
  • Day-to-day management and operational excellence of the solar farm site and team
  • Promoting and leading a strong Safety Culture towards Zero Harm
  • Interfacing with RES stakeholders and coordinating site activities including documentation such as work permits and SWMS
  • Supervising and coordinating technicians and contractors on site
  • Ensuring compliance with all WHSE requirements and operational procedures
  • Ensuring all site and company KPIs are achieved, including compliance inspections
  • Preparing operational reports including routine reports, inspections, and progress updates
  • Managing subcontractors, procurement and site resources
  • Supporting operational and technical project management activities
Required Experience
  • Previous experience in a Site Manager or supervisory role on an operational site
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience within Operations & Maintenance of utility-scale solar or renewable projects (or relevant transferable experience)
  • Strong leadership and team management capability
  • Experience coordinating contractors and site operations
Required Qualifications
  • Electrical qualification (trade, diploma or degree in electrical engineering/electronics preferred)
  • Electrical Licence relevant to the state (highly desirable)
  • Current LVR/CPR certificate
  • Current First Aid certificate
