I bring strong hands-on experience in lifting, positioning, and securing heavy loads within construction and industrial environments. I am confident working on complex lifts and thrive in fast-paced, high-risk sites where safety, precision, and teamwork are critical.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Assembly and operation of rigging equipment including chain blocks, slings, pulleys, winches, and lifting gear
- Lifting and positioning of machinery, pipe spools, structural steel, and heavy plant equipment
- Load assessment – determining weight, centre of gravity, and selecting appropriate rigging methods
- Safe selection, preparation, and attachment of slinging equipment
- Reading and interpreting lift plans, engineered drawings, and SWMS
- Routine inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs of rigging gear
- Strong communication and coordination with crane operators, dogmen, and site supervisors
- Strict adherence to WHS policies and site safety requirements
- Construction White/Blue Card
- High Risk Work Licence – Advanced Rigging
- Working at Heights
