Our client is a leading and highly regarded electrical contractor with a strong presence across Sydney, delivering major commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor known for delivering complex projects to a high standard of quality and safety.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of electrical projects from inception through to completion. You will work closely with site teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and coordination of works
  • Assisting the estimating team during tender and post-tender phases, including take-offs, scope reviews, and pricing support
  • Supporting procurement processes, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Managing procurement schedules to align with project programs
  • Preparing and administering project documentation including RFIs, variations, progress claims, and reports
  • Monitoring project budgets, tracking costs, and assisting with forecasting
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting across multiple projects
About You
  • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator role within electrical or commercial construction
  • Exposure to estimating and procurement processes within construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management capability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with systems such as Procore, Aconex, Simpro, or MS Project will be highly regarded
  • MUST have full working rights in Australia.
