About the role
You will be in charge of the operations and maintenance for the Solar farm located near Emerald. Your main responsibility will be overseeing the O&M contractor. This is a full-time, site-based opportunity, so the right candidate will need to relocate for the role.
Duties
- Ensure WHSE is strictly maintained
- Manage out of hours on-call roster system
- Plan and execute scheduled maintenance on Wind Turbines
- Plan and execute scheduled service on electrical operating equipment
- Manage unscheduled and breakdown maintenance tasks
- Maintain relevant balance of plant
- Manage sub-contractor tasks
- Ensure maintenance records are maintained appropriately
- Report to senior management in Canberra Head Office
Essential:
- Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification
- Solar Farm Experience
- Current driver's license
- Extensive experience managing site maintenance teams.
- Extensive experience working on wind farm projects.
- Previous direct customer liaison
- Work for a successful renewable company
- Stable full time position
