Bid Manager Sydney based | Architecture and Design Sector
We are partnering with a highly regarded design led studio to recruit a newly created Bid Manager position. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the end to end bid function within a creative, collaborative environment known for delivering high profile projects.
This role will suit an experienced bids professional who enjoys strategy, storytelling and working closely with senior stakeholders to secure new opportunities. You will be responsible for shaping compelling submissions, supporting business development initiatives and ensuring the studio is positioned as a strong contender across all pursuits.
The Role As Bid Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of high quality tender submissions while supporting broader marketing and business development activities.
Key responsibilities include; - Leading bid strategy, planning and coordination across multiple opportunities - Preparing compelling, high quality tender and proposal submissions - Conducting market research and gathering insights to support pursuit strategies - Collaborating with project leaders to develop clear and tailored win strategies - Coordinating internal review sessions and stakeholder input - Working closely with marketing to produce visually engaging and well structured documents - Developing and maintaining a strong bid library with reusable content and assets - Supporting awards submissions, publications and promotional collateral - Gathering client feedback to strengthen future bid performance
About You We are looking for a confident and proactive bids professional who can take full ownership of the process and drive continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will bring; - 5 to 10 years of bid management experience within architecture, engineering or construction - Proven ability to manage submissions from concept through to completion - Strong writing, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills - Experience working in design led or project based environments - A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and strengthen positioning - High attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
