Our client is a fast-growing renewable energy developer delivering utility-scale solar, wind and battery storage projects across Australia.
About the Role
This 6-month fixed term contract will play a key role in progressing a large hybrid renewable project through late-stage development and financial close. You will support land approvals and compliance activities, coordinate internal approvals, track and discharge secondary planning conditions and will support easement and tripartite agreements. It is required ASAP and there is flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate internal approval papers and governance documentation to support financial close
- Track and discharge secondary planning and environmental consent conditions
- Manage off-site road and access works approvals, including native vegetation assessments and clearance permits
- Track and discharge secondary planning and environmental consent conditions
- Lead land access and commercial negotiations for overhead transmission line corridors, including easements and tripartite agreements
- Coordinate consultants, legal advisors and stakeholders to ensure timely permitting and compliance
- Maintain risk registers and proactively resolve development constraints
- Experience in renewable energy project development
- Good understanding of planning, environmental and permitting processes
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Strong stakeholder and negotiation skills
- Immediate start, 6-month fixed term
