They’re looking for a Site Manager with strong principal contractor experience to take ownership of site delivery and report directly into the Program Manager.
This is a hands-on site leadership role suited to someone who’s run HV jobs end-to-end and is comfortable leading crews, contractors and safety on complex electrical infrastructure projects.
The Role
- Lead day-to-day site delivery and safety for HV transmission, substations, and BESS scopes
- Manage crews, subcontractors, plant and materials to keep the project on track
- Track progress, identify and resolve issues, and report directly to the Program Manager
- Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with WHS and client requirements
- Ensure works are delivered to high-quality standards and program milestones
- Work within a Principal Contractor framework, following client and regulatory expectations
- Proven Site Manager experience on HV electrical infrastructure projects
- Prior principal contractor experience
- Qualified Electrician – essential
- Experience across transmission lines, substations and/or BESS
- Strong understanding of HV safety, permits and compliance
- Comfortable working in regional locations on a roster
- Transgrid tickets / authorisations
- HV switching or network-specific tickets
- Prior experience on utility-owned assets
- 11 days on / 3 days off roster - travel on their time
- DIDO or FIFO available from anywhere on the east coast
- Long-term project with solid continuity
- Good systems, experienced delivery team and clear reporting lines
