We are seeking an experienced Project Quality Lead to support the delivery of a large-scale solar farm project in the North Island. This role works closely with project, engineering and construction teams to ensure quality, compliance and completion requirements are met across the project lifecycle.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will provide leadership and practical guidance on quality systems, site inspections, audits and handover activities in line with ISO 9001:2015 and project requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Implementing and maintaining the project Quality Management System in compliance with legislative and technical requirements
- Developing and delivering the Project Quality Management Plan
- Supporting design reviews, RFIs, NCRs and resolving quality issues during design and construction
- Managing site quality assurance activities including ITPs, ITRs, inspections, audits and defect close-out
- Ensuring materials and equipment compliance, traceability and documentation
- Managing subcontractor quality assessments and surveillance
- Maintaining document control and preparing handover dossiers for completed work areas
- Communicating effectively with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Civil) or Electrician by trade
- Project Management qualification (desirable)
- Strong experience in quality management on infrastructure or renewable energy projects
- Solid understanding of quality and completion systems and digital field quality tools
- Proven field leadership and stakeholder management experience
- Strong communication, reporting and decision-making skills
