The Opportunity
ACRWORLD is partnering with a well established property business to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance team. This is role is in a high volume environment and would suit someone early in their accounting career who is looking to settle into a long term position and grow with the business.

The team is collaborative, supportive, and values people who take ownership of their work. This role plays an important part in keeping the finance function running smoothly, and the right person will be given time, support, and structure to succeed.

The Role
This is a processing heavy accounts role that sits at the core of the finance team. Accuracy, consistency, and reliability are essential, particularly in a busy operational environment.

Key responsibilities include
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Reviewing budgets, income, and expenditure
• Setting up and maintaining plans
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Journal entries and support through month end
• Assisting with BAS and GST preparation
• Managing documentation and maintaining accurate records
• General accounting and administrative support to ensure the team runs seamlessly

Systems and Exposure
You will gain hands on exposure to reputable accounting systems and property platforms, working alongside experienced finance professionals in a structured environment where accuracy matters.
Month end processes are well managed and designed to be smooth rather than stressful.

About You
This role will suit someone who
• Has 1 to 3 years experience in an accounts or assistant accounting role
• Understands core AP and AR processes
• Is detail focused and takes pride in producing accurate work
• Thrives in busy environments and remains calm under pressure
• Is comfortable working autonomously while being part of a close knit team
• Asks questions, seeks clarity, and wants to genuinely understand the role
• Is motivated by long term development rather than short term moves
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred. CA or CPA studies underway or planned are looked on favourably but are not essential.
