Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for residential and some commercial projects valued between $1M and $3M
- Working closely with Project Managers to coordinate accurate project costing and budgets
- Conducting frequent site visits to assess scope, progress, and support project delivery
- Assisting with contract administration duties including managing variations and claims
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to support project execution
- Contributing to project meetings and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting the broader team culture and company reputation through professionalism and collaboration
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in estimating, preferably in residential construction with some commercial exposure
- Strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration
- Experience working alongside Project Managers and site teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials for residential and commercial projects
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
