About the role / duties
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing residential construction projects from early works through to completion
• Overseeing contracts, documentation, variations, and extensions of time
• Tracking project costs, budgets, progress claims, and financial performance
• Planning construction programs, resources, and site logistics
• Leading site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to achieve project outcomes
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality
• Managing defects, risk items, manpower, and equipment on site
• Maintaining strong quality assurance and WHS compliance across all projects
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
• Resolving on-site challenges efficiently while maintaining strong working relationships
• Mentoring and supporting team members to drive performance and accountability
• Contributing to improvements in systems, processes, and operational efficiency

Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated experience managing residential construction projects
• Solid understanding of contract administration, cost control, and scheduling
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
• Self-motivated with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative leadership style
• Organised and adaptable, able to manage competing priorities
• Comfortable adopting new technology and systems to improve workflows
