About the role
You will be in charge of the operations and maintenance for the Bundaberg Solar farm located in QLD. Your main responsibility will be overseeing the O&M contractor. This is a full-time, site-based opportunity, so the right candidate will need to relocate to Bundarberg.
Responsibilities
- Manage all site related issues as autonomously as possible
- Monitor the progress of our O&M contractor
- Attend regular meetings with O&M contractor to discuss progress of works, along with our Operations Manager
- Conduct WHSE inspections and be proactive about WHSE
- Conduct routine inspections of civil and electrical works
- Coordinate subcontractors in our PVP (environmental offset area)
- Review contract reports.
- Produce site reports.
- Full driver’s license
- Ability to build relationships with a variety of different people.
- Background in mechanical or electrical degree or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of solar farm.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office apps, writing inspection reports, and conducting inspections
